I know all flat irons do damage to the hair, but I hear that ceramic ones are better to use. Well, a couple of weeks ago I bought a new flat iron from Sally Beauty Supply. The lady recommended it and it is called Jilbere de Paris Titanium Tools Flat Iron. I really do like it but I just would like to know what is the difference between ceramic plates and titanium plates??? What makes ceramic so special? Should I return my flat iron for a ceramic Jilbere de Paris flat iron???Ceramic Flat Irons?
I have the same one as you and is works like a dream. I don't get any frizzles and my hair is silky smooth after I use it. (Which is saying a lot cuz I have really thick/wavy/fizzy hair!!) I use a heat protector spray. I used to have a Vidal Sasson (sp?) ceramic, but I found that the Titanium works best for me!
://Edit
I just looked on the the box. The Titanium Tools uses Titanium Plate Technology, but is a ceramic heater.Ceramic Flat Irons?
the ceramic ones work better and do less damge to your hair because the material is less coarse and rigggly and it doesnt overheat your hair
i have a Jilbere de Paris flat iron and its great i would def. recommend them! but im not really sure about the differnence
Ceramic irons are better because the element that straightens or curls your hair is not heat, but it is ion. That said, your hair will be better off with ceramic than heat that could damage it.
the ceramic ones don't fry our hair its the best ones to buy
My hair stylist said ceramic doesn't burn your hair.
