What's so special about ceramic flat irons?

today when i was shopping at the mall this guy straightned my hair with a ceramic flat iron. i was very interested to buy it but my mom said no. i kno it was a chi but a fully ceramic flat iron. one of them was red with a black design and one was black with a lot of texture. anyoen kno wat these are called? i also want to kno wats so speical about them?What's so special about ceramic flat irons?
what speacil aboiut them is that they dont fry your hair. they make it shinny. if you want to test (to see how they dont fry your hair) take a q-tip and a non--cermaic flat iron and press down on the q-tip%26gt; it burns!


then do the same with the ceramic, it doesn't burn but actually flattens the q-tip

The ceramic is better for your hair than metal which is usually in the cheaper hair straighteners. The black one with the design might be a solia but there was blue ceramic plates inside. The ceramic has less damage on your hair than metal so thats why its so special and more pricy
it makes your hair shinny and it doesnt damage your hair. more than the metaled ones.
ceramic heats faster.. and maintains heat


and it smooths your hair.

just get a decent one from walmart


they work just as well
