I have a Infra Shine 1'; ceramic flat iron that has brown build up on it from product. When I turn it on and it gets hot it smells a little like burnt hair. It smells like that prior to me using it on my hair so it is not like I am burning my hair. It is really expensive so if I can clean it vs buying a new one that would be cool.What is the correct way to clean build up off of a ceramic flat iron?
Use acetone and then wipe it off with alcohol. try it it works.
