Ceramic iron are much easier on the hair then many metal irons are.
I would say it depends on your hair. Because I use to use a regular iron which worked fine with my hair, it straightened my hair just fine but my roots weren't as straight as I wanted them to be. Then I got a ceramic flat iron for Christmas and it works very well on my roots but then it kind of leaves my hair frizzy, but it works okay for my hair. I personally like the regular flat iron better with my hair. My sister has a different quality of hair than I do and the ceramic flat iron works way better with her hair than it does with mine.
yes. they don't cause so much damage to your hair. that is what my stylist said. they just work way better anyhow, so i will NEVER go back to a regular iron!
